Vessel

Registrations

Vessel Registration

This service enables the vessel agent to register a vessel with Aqaba Cruise Terminal by providing the relevant information and certificates of the vessel. Once the vessel is registered, the vessel agent will be able to apply for a vessel call, request services, or permits at Aqaba Cruise Terminal in Aqaba, Jordan in a fully digitalized way and to keep track on the status updates. In addition, all documents related to the vessel call are available on the users account.

A Vessel Registration is required only for a vessel that is registering for the first time on the Aqaba Cruise Terminal Portal.

  • P&I Club Insurance Certificate (First page with validity)
  • Document of Compliance

Service Steps

  1. The vessel agent submits a Vessel Registration Request by providing the required information and vessel certificates on the Aqaba CT Portal.
  2. The Vessel Registration Request is reviewed by the Aqaba Cruise Terminal Operator.
  3. The vessel agent receives a status update on the approval:
    • For approved vessel registration, the vessel agent will receive a status update and the vessel will be included in the list as registered and approved vessels according to new or modified data provided.
    • For rejected vessel registration, the vessel agent will receive a status update including feedback on the rejection reason.

Vessel Call Request

This service enables the vessel agent to register a vessel visit within Aqaba Cruise Terminal (Aqaba, Jordan) by providing the relevant information, documents, and certificates. The service is available for registered vessels on the Aqaba CT Portal.

The vessel agent is able to apply for a vessel call in fully digitalized way and keep track on the status updates. In addition, all documents related to the vessel call are available on the users account.

Service Steps

  1. The vessel agent submits a Vessel Call Request minimum 48 hours prior to vessel ETA by providing the required information on the Aqaba CT Portal.
  2. The Vessel Call Request is reviewed by the Aqaba Cruise Terminal Operator.
  3. The vessel agent receives a status update on the approval:
    • For approved vessel calls, the vessel agent will receive a status update and the vessel call will be included in the list.
    • For rejected vessel calls, the vessel agent will receive a status update including feedback on the rejection reason.
    • In case that any additional information is required, the vessel agent will receive a request to update the required information on the vessel call request.
    This can be done directly into the portal.

Cruise Services

This service enables the vessel agent to request services for the vessels within Aqaba Cruise Terminal (Jordan) by providing the relevant information and certificates. The service is available for registered vessels on the Aqaba CT Portal.

Through this service, cruise vessel agents can request handling and facilitating the transit, embarking and disembarking passengers, along with their associated services.

Service Steps

  1. The vessel agent submits a Passenger Handling request for a vessel visit by providing the required information on the Aqaba CT Portal.
  2. The Passenger Handling request is reviewed by the Aqaba Cruise Terminal Operator.
  3. The vessel agent receives a status update on the service request approval:
    • For approved service requests, the vessel agent will receive a status update and the service request will be included in the list as approved service request.
    • For rejected service requests, the vessel agent will receive a status update including feedback on the rejection reason.
  4. The vessel agent is invoiced based on the verified number of passengers.

This service enables the vessel agent to request a vessel departure within Aqaba Cruise Terminal (Aqaba, Jordan) by providing the relevant information and documents. The service is available for registered vessels on the Aqaba CT Portal.

The vessel agent is able to apply for a vessel departure in fully digitalized way and keep track on the status updates. In addition, all documents related to the vessel departure are available on the users account.

Service Steps

  1. The vessel agent submits a Vessel Departure by providing the required information on the Aqaba CT Portal.
  2. The Vessel Departure Request is reviewed by the Aqaba Cruise Terminal Operator.
  3. The vessel agent receives a status update on the approval:
    • For approved vessel departure requests, the vessel agent will receive a status update and the vessel departure will be included in the list as approved vessel departure request.
    • For rejected vessel departure requests, the vessel agent will receive a status update including feedback on the rejection reason.

Permits

Through this service, customer can request for Land Permit To Work (PTW) to carry out the relevant activities within Aqaba Cruise Terminal. The applicable PTW's are : Bunkering, Normal Waste Disposal.

Through this service, vessel agent can request Permit To Work (PTW) to carry out Bunkering through road tanker transfers within Aqaba Cruise Terminal berth premises.

Service Steps

  1. The vessel agent submits a permit-to-work request for a vessel visit by providing the required information on the Aqaba CT Portal.
  2. The permit-to-work request is reviewed by the Aqaba Cruise Terminal Operator.
  3. The vessel agent receives a status update on the permit-to-work request approval:
    • For approved permit-to-work requests, the vessel agent will receive a status update and the permit-to-work request will be included in the list as approved service request.
    • For rejected permit-to-work requests, the vessel agent will receive a status update including feedback on the rejection reason.
  4. The permit-to-work will be available to download on the vessel agent's user account.

Through this service, vessel agent can request for Permit To Work (PTW) to carry out Normal Waste Disposal through disposal trucks within Aqaba Cruise Terminal berth premises.
